This 6 hour workshop includes an introduction to the Grenfell mat hooking tradition and teaches you how to hook in the Grenfell style using pantyhose.
Kits can be ordered and purchased from the instructor and include the pattern drawn on linen and all the pantyhose required to hook the piece.
- Map Mat – 10″ x 12″ authentic Grenfell design $65
- Polar Bear – 10″ x 12″, authentic Grenfell design $65
- Inukshuk – 6″ x 8″ $50
Other items required: frame, scissors, size fine hook (available from instructor for $12)
Some previous rug hooking experience required. Coffee/tea provided, but bring your own lunch.

Non-members: $125
