RHGNL Spring Retreat
Date: April 21- 23, 2023
Location: Blazing Horizon Cottages, Whiteway, NL
Open to members and non-members
This Spring, our retreat will be on the Eastern side of the Island at the Blazing Horizon Resort. The purpose of the retreat is to have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend with friends (old and new). You can hook, hike, sit outside and relax….it is up to you!
Accommodations:
- 7 cottages (1 and 2 bedroom)
- chalet (4 queen size suites + 1 king size suite)
The rate will depend on your personal arrangement. Go to the Blazing Horizon website to view accommodations and Book early!
Meals
You can cook your own, restaurant on site, they can cater lunch Sat ($10 soup/sandwiches) or a combination….choice is yours.
Activities
- Friday – arrival, supper, hooking or whatever, meet and greet at 9:00 pm
- Saturday – hooking and whatever else you choose to do! Social 9:00 pm
- Sunday – hooking, or whatever till lunchtime, departure
- Newbie night (Friday night) – if you are new to Rug Hooking you can purchase a beginner kit ( includes everything you need) and you will be shown the basics of Rug Hooking. If you have questions throughout the weekend, we are all here to help! Kits must be ordered in advance.
Registration fee:
- $25 non members
- $20 members
To be included in this Retreat you must:
1) Contact Blazing Horizons cottages and book your accommodations.
2) Complete the registration form below. If paying by etransfer, provide your name and ‘Spring Retreat’ in the description and use the password ‘Retreat’
3) We require a minimum 12, and maximum 28 people
