2022 Rug Camp Classes
With Anne Inder, RHGNL Certified Teacher
This 18 hour course is a design course by nature. You will be shown how to go from making dots in grids to creating your own Celtic Knot mat design to hook or punch.
With Judie Brockie, RHGNL Certified Teacher
Have you ever started a new project or learned a new technique in rug-hooking, (with enthusiasm?) and eventually reached a point of not knowing how or what to do next? Having given it your best, but unsuccessful effort, you tucked it away in a closet?? Find it and bring it to this course with your supplies.
Choose whatever you want to work on while enjoying the fun and friendship of Rug School. There will be no formal instruction in this class.
With Molly White, RHGNL Certified Teacher
Locker Hooking is similar to rug hooking. It involves pulling materials through a rug canvas in loops that are then locked into place with a hidden strand of wool/string to make coasters, rugs, bags, art etc.
With Marilyn Moore, RHGNL Certified Teacher
This workshop will be about imagination, manipulation, and creation as we deal with kaleidoscopes – how they are formed and ways in which they can be hooked.
With Lillian Dwyer, RHGNL Certified Teacher
The basic elements of nature, such as trees, rocks, clouds, water and the sky, can define your hooked rug and bring your piece to life.
With Susan Clarke, OHCG Certified Teacher
Our in-class sessions will focus on the hooking, and making your designs really powerful. I am happy to discuss hooking techniques with any students who need this, and will also give tips and tricks to make your bags exceptional!
