Description:
Have you ever seen a mat and wondered, “How did they get the water to look so realistic”? Want to know the tricks and techniques used to produce these visual effects?
The techniques used to produce cascading waterfalls, shorelines, reflective ponds and crashing waves will be the focus of this intense 18-hour class. The Sampler pattern will give you the opportunity to practice all the techniques covered in the Theory section.
30% Theory – using visual aids, drawing principles, colouring we will cover techniques to produce 4 different water examples
70% Practice – students will work on a sampler pattern that allows them to put theory into practice
Materials
Participants Must Bring:
- Frame to accommodate a 24”x 24” foundation cloth
- Hook/punch and items usually used.
- Suggested: Light & extension cord,
- Plain paper, crayons, coloured pencils or markers
